New Playwrights Series
The Villagers Theatre (producer Lluana Jones) will present a staged reading of my full-length play W.A.S.P. in Somerset, N.J. this May - very exciting news. The Villagers Theatre (founded in 1960!) gives a playwright the opportunity to see a work on its feet and a feel for its developing progress.
In
2010 the W.A.S.P. were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal from Congress in
recognition of their WWII flying service. Their existence deleted from American
history books, the general public knows little about these courageous women. This is the unique story of seven courageous U.S. women pilots who ferried warplanes from the factories to the airfields.
