Come this June, Playlight Theatre in NYC will feature W.A.S.P.
in Spotlight - their Table Reading Series.
Playlight Theatre Company fosters the development, creation and exploration of new play projects. Their Table Reading Series offers playwrights invaluable insight into their material.
Looking forward to working with this terrific energetic theatrical company.

W.A.S.P. November stage production in California
Zanne in Sweetwater, TXW.A.S.P. training center
Fullerton College was very pleased with the audience response to the W.A.S.P. staged reading so they have decided to produce it as part of their season at the end of 2017.
Back from a quick 5-day visit to Anaheim/Fullerton, CA and a staged reading of W.A.S.P. It was chosen out of 500 play entries. Creative and energetic crew Tim Espinosa, Artistic Director; Michael Mueller, Managing Director; and Director Lizzy McCabe gathered a superb cast to make the play come alive for an audience with many questions after the performance. Seems people are wondering why these unknown military ladies haven't been given a more prominent place in U.S. History. Me too.
FABUM, Inc. a non-profit arts organization in Washington, DC that presents original, creative works and art events that seek to empower individuals and promote self-realization has just made W.A.S.P.s one of five finalists in their short play contest with a theme centering around strong women. The plays will be produced December 9 @7:00 at the historic Arts Club of Washington, located at 2017 I Street, NW. Check FABUM on Facebook for updates.
The Villagers Theatre (producer Lluana Jones) will present a staged reading of my full-length play W.A.S.P. in Somerset, N.J. this May - very exciting news. The Villagers Theatre (founded in 1960!) gives a playwright the opportunity to see a work on its feet and a feel for its developing progress.
In
2010 the W.A.S.P. were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal from Congress in
recognition of their WWII flying service. Their existence deleted from American
history books, the general public knows little about these courageous women. This is the unique story of seven courageous U.S. women pilots who ferried warplanes from the factories to the airfields.
